Quality Assurance

Blood screening is performed on all tissue donors. The following tests are performed on every donor:  

 
The following is a list of tests required by AATB (D4.354):

  1. anti-HIV-1 and anti-HIV-2

  2. HBsAG (hepatitis B surface antigen)

  3. anti-HVC (hepatitis C antibodies)

  4. anti-HTLV-I and anti-HTLV-II (human T-lymphotrophic type I and II antibodies)

  5. syphilis

  6. anti-HBc (anti-HBcB core antibody)

All test kits are FDA approved.

 

The following is a list of tests required by FDA (Part 1270.21):

  1. anti-HIV-1 and anti-HIV-2

  2. HBsAg (Hepatitis B)

  3. anti-HCV (Hepatitis C)

All test kits are FDA approved

In many cases, additional testing is performed. Please call us about additional testing that may have been performed on a specific tissue.
